PM41279: Error: Stored producedure doing insert of col blob

• Environment:
  - Windows XP
   - Rational Bussiness Developer v 7.1.05
  Reproducible Y/N: Y
  Description of problem:
  
  User execute the sql containing the table and the strored proc.
  
  Try to call the stored proc using the database explorer in rdb
  
  without problem. Then they try to call this stored proc  in a
  EGL project
  and there is this (EGL0504E EXECUTE) . The stored procedure
  fails when there is a insert of .doc file and
  .pdf file, those are BLOB fields.
  
  
  created a little project (in attachment) with a simple program
  (testblob) that read two different files and call the stored
  proc using
  the blob from this file.
  
  
  For the .doc file, the exception is:
  THE VALUE OF INPUT HOST VARIABLE OR PARAMETER NUMBER 3 CANNOT BE
  USED
  AS SPECIFIED BECAUSE OF ITS DATA
  TYPE[sqlstate:42895][sqlcode:-301]
  
  
  For the .pdf file, the exception is:
  
  [ibm][db2][jcc][t4][20111][11372] The value of a host variable
  is too
  large for its corresponding use.  Host
  variable=3.[sqlstate:00000]
  [sqlcode:-99999]
