APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the case where you have content that is created with the
option to create the content under a new site area, updates to
the
content will update the site area.  This is expected, however in
the case where you have published content and a draft of the
content, updates to the draft should not affect the site area.

Local fix

  • disable site area updates by setting flag

Problem summary

  • When draft content is updated, and there is a published version,
the site area is updated as well.

Problem conclusion

  • WCM changed to resolve
