PM40681: PROMPT TYPE SET TO "SELECT VALUE" IN FRAMEWORK MANAGER WITH MACRO PROMPT PREVENTING USER IN USING FILTER IN QUERY STUDIO

Error description

• Cognos BI 8.4.1?Query Studio?Framework manager??User places a
  macro date prompt on the Query Subject in Framework Manager and
  then has  prompt type for the query type set to "Select Value".
  Then the user publishes the package and opens it in Query
  Studio. When dragging the data item (which has "Select Value" as
  prompt type) the user is prompted with a date prompt.  However,
  after the user selects the desired dates, when attempting to
  place a filter on the data displayed the user is returned to the
  date prompt. USER IS NOT ABLE TO PLACE A FILTER.??When prompt
  type is set to "Server Determined".  The user is able to place
  filter on data time but is required to select a range in which
  the data should be filter.  USER WOULD LIKE TO SELECT VALUE and
  NOT choose a range in which the data should be filtered.??
