PM40242: Can't send system alert mail if alias is not specified.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 'System Alert Email' configuration is not changed, but after
  upgrading BF system from 7.1.1.3 to 7.1.2.2, the system alert
  can not be worked.
  Format of 'System Alert Email' is 'aaaa@bbb.ccc.ddd'.  This
  value doesn't include alias.
  But if the format of 'System Alert Email' is 'Alias
  ?aaaa@bbb.ccc.ddd?', system alert can work correctly.

  Symptom:
  When using the user@host.com email format the system alert
  message fails toget sent.
  
  Cause:
  The mechanism sending emails out currently looks for the
  format:
  name ?name@host.com?
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix:
  Allow multiple formats for the System Alert Email and System
  Alert Source.
  
  Specifically now we can send emails to email addresses in
  the following formats:
  name "?name@host.com?"
  name ?"name@host.com"?
  name ?name@host.com?
  name name@host.com
  name "name@host.com"
  name@host.com
