ReqWeb: document with macros hangs import
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When importing a Microsoft Word document to RequisiteWeb and the document contains RequisiteWeb edit online macros, a warning message is shown in the server and the browser waits for it to be clicked so you will see as if the import is hung. To work around this issue you can copy the content of the document to a new Word document and then import the new document to RequisiteWeb. You can determine if your document will have this issue by opening the document in Word. If it contains the edit online macros a message will be shown. "This document has already been closed in the RequisiteWeb project. You will need to re-edit this document through RequisiteWeb."
Problem conclusion
RequisiteWeb code was modified to remove Word macros from the Word document before uploading it to RequisiteWeb.
