Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z (RDz) Remote System Explorer
(RSE) server on the host uses up lots of CPU even when there are
no RDz users logged on.

RDz Daemon has two threads that run periodically. One is to
check the arrival of the log when the enable.standard.log is
true. Another is to check the status of each server process when
the process.cleanup.interval is specified.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Now, the blocking type API is used to check the arrival of the
standard log and the process.cleanup.interval with zero value
can be used to check the status of each server process without
a running thread.
