APAR status

Error description

  • In 8.4.1 FP2 if a schedule fails due to a change in passwords
    for the user scheduling a report, if you look at the run history
    for the object, it states clearly that the schedule failed to
    execute due to invalid credentials:  "CNC-SDS-0413 There was a
    problem in executing the task. The user authentication failed.
    It may not be possible to rerun the task."  In 8.4.1 FP3 and
    10.1.1, this does not happen. No run history is seen for the
    object or even in past activities from Cognos administration.
    There is no record of the failure other than in the
    cogserver.log.
