PM39852: Rational Developer for System z Fault Analyzer Plugin causes migration problem

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When customer uses the Rational Developer for System z Fault
  Analyzer History View and saves it in v7.6.  Then migrates to
  v7.6.2.1.  The user is not able to open the Fault Analyzer view.
  
  
  In the .log file the following exception is found:

Local fix

Problem summary

• The problem is caused by redesign of the plugin.
  

Problem conclusion

• Added check in FARseCommunicationProvideer.java to check if
  existing history file exists and if it does it will recreate new
  history file path using existing path.  This workaround updates
  workspace files as older plugin versions (pre redesign).
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.2.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
