PM39510: Multiple parameters cannot be specified for proc

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In a property group, when you have more than 1 step, and options
  on several steps, the generated JCL contains errors: the comma
  is not generated.
  // PARM.ASM=('ASM_OPTION')   <--- there is a missing comma here
  // PARM.STEP1=('STEP1_OPTION')
  We do support the preprocessing, and that is why, when you moved
  the STEP1 step above the assemble step, your JCL had the comma
  in the right place.
  Because we don't receive enough information from the compiler to
  map error message backwards after the compilation, this is not
  fully supported.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• We were not generating a comma when we need to for JCL Gen of
  Assembler.  This leads to a JCL Error which is evident in the
  editor.
  

Problem conclusion

• The comma is now generated, for correct JCL Generation in the
  next release.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V8.0.3 Refresh Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
