Error description

  • Saving report parameters in a Sales Report takes 10 seconds in
Cognos 8.2, but in 8.4.1 it takes 35 / 60 seconds.??Additional
Observations:?In 8.4.1 a system generated prompt page comes up
after the designed one. This system generated page only contains
an optional prompt that is defined in the Framework Manager
Model. By clicking "ok" the prompt page can be?skipped, however
this did not happen in 8.2 and shows a different prompt behavior
as well. by defining a dummy prompt for this system generated
prompt page the time to save the prompts reduced from 60 seconds
to 35 seconds,?but this is still more then three times of the
previous time.
