PM36735: INCORRECT CUSTOM SQL IN REPORT STUDIO REPORTS NO LONGER RETURNS DATABASE ERROR MESSAGE

Error description

• In Cognos 8, when a Report Studio report that relied on custom
  Pass-Through SQL had SQL errors in it, it would return the
  database error message in the error return.  As of 10.1, it we
  are now returning the following error message:?QE-DEF-0030
  Expression parsing error.?Details show the following
  error:?QE-DEF-0359 The query contains a reference to at least
  one object '[SQL1].[DATE]' that does not exist.??In previous
  versions (up until 8.4.1 FP3), we received text along the lines
  of:?RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation
  'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-56'.?Details show the following
  error:?UDA-SQL-0115 Inappropriate SQL request.?UDA-SQL-0564
  [Microsoft SQL Native Client]Deferred prepare could not be
  completed.?UDA-SQL-0564 [Microsoft SQL Native
  Client]Statement(s) could not be prepared. (SQLSTATE=42000,
  SQLERRORCODE=8180)?UDA-SQL-0564 [Microsoft SQL Native
  Client]'GETDATE2' is not a recognized built-in function name.
