Problem summary

  • Problem Summary:
    Adding a group to the WCM access control section of an item with
    an & fails

    Detailed Problem Description:
    Adding a group to the WCM access control section of an item with
    an & fails.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem Analysis:
    The & is encoded as & and therefore results on WCM splitting
    the name at the ; resulting in an invalid name for example
    test&group would be test&group.  WCM splits the groups on ;
    and therefore would try to find a group named test&amp

    Problem Solution:
    The code has been modified to handle this behavior.

    Affected Users:
    All users who use & in group names.
