PM36217: Gateway doesnt know when Diff Merge Fails

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When Diff Merge is invoked if it cannot write to 'all' the
  parent units of the Requirements package then the Merge fails.
  
  When running a sync - if the Merge fails as above scenario-
  gateway doesnt know this and carries on as if it had succeeded.

  DiffMerge will detect that the unit is read-only then the
  automatic merge will fail. After that DiffMerge UI is
  invoked, user will try to merge and get the failure user has
  to abort DiffMerge UI, then the sync process stop and show
  the error.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in 7.6
