Rational Synergy Fix Pack 3 (7.1.0.3) for 7.1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• reproduced on Linux
  
  0) Start a java session.
  
  Be sure the Parallel checkin is enabled on the release used for
  the test.
  
  1) Create an object in a shared project. It is in visible state.
  
  Its version is 1.0. Check in that object.
  
  2) Check out a new version of this object 1.0. The new version
  is 2.0 and in
  state 'visible'. Check in that version too.
  
  3) Use the first version 1.0  of the object, and check it out.
  
  You have then a new version 1.1 of the object in 'visible'
  state.
  Check it in.
  
  4) Now Merge the version 2.0 and 1.1
  
  =? It will create a new version of the object, 3.0 for example.
  
  But its status is 'working' instead of 'visible'.
  
  
  
  (with the Classic client, the merged version was in 'visible'
  state)
