Error description

• A delay and mvfs_log errors occur when dynamic views are first
  registered within MVFS on execution of cleartool commands, on
  HP-UX 11.31
  
  ClearCase 7.1.1.x and 7.1.2.x
  
  To Reproduce:
  The following cleartool commands will produce a ~6 second delay
  and will generate errors within the mvfs_log when a view is
  either created, started on the host for the first time or when
  the view is set to the host for the first time.  The problem is
  only seen when the dynamic view has to initially register itself
  within the MVFS, and the issue will not cause the cleartool
  command to fail.  This will only produce a delay as experienced
  by the user from the command line and from the errors as seen
  within the mvfs_log.
  
  cleartool mkview ?args?  (Both local and NAS stored Views)

  The errors that are produced within the mvfs_log:

  On HP-UX 11.31, ClearCase dynamic view users experience a
  delay when the view is first started.  Error messages are
  logged in the mvfs_log, although the view is successfully
  started.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in ClearCase versions 7.1.1.06, 7.1.2.03
