PM32898: RPE:Word error when publishing document (normal.dot)

Error description

• Created from Escalation RATLC01996108: Every time client
  publishes a document from DOORS, they get the following error
  about the ?normal.dot? if they use a stylehseet and run a macro
  during generation:
  'This file is in use by another application or user.
  (c:Documents and Settings\...\normal.dot)'.
  On investigating the problem client have found that it is
  because they use Word as the default editor for outlook which
  would also uses normal.dot. When closing outlook or changing to
  HTML as the default editor, the document was produced correctly.
  As another check, they moved the normal.dot from the default
  Microsoft Word trusted directory (C:\Documents and
  Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates) to a
  temporary Word untrusted directory, on the c: drive to which
  they had read write access and modified the Word tools/options
  file locations for templates to point to this location, again
  the error went away.
  
  As per the client the two workarounds that they have fond out
  for this issue is not ideal as this would go against the normal
  default setup as they use company wide templates.
