PM32573: RFT8201 : Specified text is not available in the list of subitems, RFT takes lot of time to respond

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem description: If the specified text is not available in
  the list of subitems, RFT takes lot of time to respond and
  becomes frozen for a number of seconds. This is a behavior that
  affects script performance.
  
  Steps to reproduce :
  
  1) Use the attached test Script SelectionDismissWithFF.java
  2) Ensure FireFox is enabled correctly and browser test passes.
  3) Go to script and change from sObj.select('Mercedes');  to
  sObj.select('123_Mercedes');
  3) Run the script, it opens up FF and you will see the reported
  issue.
  
  Expected: Once SubItem is NOT FOUND in the dropdown list, RFT
  should report SubItemNotFound exception immediately.
  
  Actual: It founds Mercedes even though it should not.

• The issue has been resolved and now RFT responds quickly
