PM32252: IBM Rational Build Utility does not provide EJB annotation support

Error description

• After upgrade to Rational Build Utility v7.5.5.3 a project that
  was building correctly in Build Utility v7.5.5 now shows EJB
  validation errors.
  
  Code that contains annotated EJBs will fail to compile and
  output EJB validaton errors when performing a headless build
  with the Rational Build Utility product.
  
  This happens in both v7.5.5.3+ and 8.0.2+ versions.

  IBM Rational Build Utility does not ship the
  com.ibm.etools.annotations.ejb plugin, which is necessary
  for handling annotated EJBs properly.
  
  As a result users will experience headless build errors with
  the Build Utility when their code contains annotated EJB
  code.  For example,

Problem conclusion

• The extra bundle com.ibm.etools.annotations.ejb has been
  added to the Rational Build Utility.
  
  This problem is fixed in both Rational Build Utility
  versions 7.5.5.4 and 8.0.2.
