PM31454: EGL RUI widget.select() disable text selection

  Reproducible Y/N:
  Description of problem:
  
  The select() function (used to select all text in the input) of
  the base widget always disables text selection.
  
  Especially IE suffers from this: when tabbing through the input
  fields,
  sometimes the content is selected, sometimes not. Repeatedly
  using tab
  and shift tab on the same inputs also produces erratic and
  unpredictable behaviour.

  Problem Description: The select() function (used to select
  all text in the input) of the base widget always disables
  text selection.
  

Problem conclusion

• The select() function will turn off the selection only when
  it is closed. Thus user can set enable selection to true and
  won't be turned off when invoking select() function.
