PM30732: CHANGES MADE TO AN EXISTING BUSINESS INSIGHT DASHBOARD MIGHT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN LOST WHEN THE DASHBOARD IS RE-OPENED

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The issue only happens if you do all the following steps within
    the CMCachingService time limit, which defaults to 30
    seconds??1.  Open a dashboard??2.  Make a change??3.  Save the
    dashboard??4.  The same user re-opens the same dashboard????In
    the above scenario, the user will still see the dashboard that
    he opened in step 1.
    

Local fix

  • Try and re-open the dashboard. Once the CMCaheService cache time
    outs
    (default is 30 seconds) then the latest dashboard will be opened
    .
    
    The issue has been fixed in Colorado RP1
