APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When modifying the value of setting
    "remoteCacheInfo.response.header.vary" in "WP NavigatorService"
to differ from the default value "User-Agent, Cookie" (i.e.
"User-Agent" only), the new setting is being ignored.
Instead the internal default value of "User-Agent, Cookie" is
    used always.

Local fix

  • Instead of the key name "remoteCacheInfo.response.header.vary"
    the
key name "vary" (omitting the prefix
    "remoteCacheInfo.response.header.") can be used.

Problem summary

    "remoteCacheInfo.response.header.vary" in "WP NavigatorService"
to differ from the default value "User-Agent, Cookie" (i.e.
"User-Agent" only), the new setting is being ignored. Instead
the internal default value of "User-Agent, Cookie" is used
    always.
