• CAMIDs containing an apostrophe (or any other special
  characters) cause the following error message in IBM Cognos 8.4

  The function 'ThirdPartyProviderWrapper::DoSearch'
  failed.CAM-AAA-0153 The call to the JNIEnv function
  'pCAM_AAA_Search' failed for the parameter
  'java.lang.NullPointerException'.????This issue is reproduced
  when a userid is being added to the properties/permissions of
  any object within Cognos (report, folder, datasource etc). This
  userid's CAMID must have the apostrophe or the special
  character. The issue was also reproduced using IBM Cognos's
  proven practices document on flatfile
