PM29512: The Rational Agent Controller installer for AIX does not include scripts that work using the default Korn shell

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Rational Agent Controller version 8.x install images for the
  AIX platform provide scripts using the bash shell rather than
  using the default Korn shell.
  
  This is not a problem on Linux or many Unix implementations such
  as Solaris that include bash; However, AIX v5.3 does not include
  bash by default.
  You have to obtain it from:
  
  'AIX Toolbox for Linux Applications'
  http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/aix/linux/toolbox/e
  zinstall.html
  
  and look for 'bash'
  
  An AIX root/admin will need to install it.

  The shell in the scripts should be defined as /bin/sh not
  /bin/bash.
  

Problem conclusion

• The shell scripts have been updated to use /bin/sh rather
  than /bin/bash.
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in the Rational Agent
  Controller version 8.3.2.
