When attempting to commit an XID which does not exist, the
Gateway daemon returns an uninitialized variable from a
function that causes an abend 0C4 when the variable is
    referenced.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Transaction Gateway has been corrected so that the
variable is always initialized preventing the abend.
