PM28969: WHEN THE REPORT IS OPENED WITH A NEW WINDOW THROUGH NAVIGATOR IN PORTLET, IT USES THE GATEWAY URI IN CONFIGURATION

Error description

• When the report is opened with a new Window through Navigator in
  portal, it uses the Gateway URI in the Cognos Configuration.?It
  should use the URI that the user has in their browser in the
  portlets.??The client's requirement is to use the different port
  number for the gateway URI than the number in the configuration
  to open the reports with new window through Navigator in the
  portlet.??In Configuration, the gateway URI has 80 port.?But
  they want to use another port, for example 8080, to connect to
  Cognos Connection and open the reports with new window through
  Navigator in the portlet.??However when they try to open the
  reports in new window, the port number is always 80 which is in
  the Configuration even though they use 8080 port to connect to
  Cognos connection.??I tested it with both Cognos 8.3 FP5 and
  Cognos 8.4.1 FP2. ?The issue only happened with Cognos 8.3 FP5
  not with Cognos 8.4.1 FP2.?With C8.4.1 FP2, the gateway URI is
  always same as the one in their browser.??Please let me know
  what has been changed from 8.3 to 8.4.1 for regarding this
  issue.?And whether the hotfix is available for C8.3 FP5.?  ?
