Error description

  • Checking out a project+subprojects (2 levels) hierarchy using a
GUI, java or classic client, crashes the session.
On windows's machines or on the AIX server.
-Checking out one project with one subproject (level 1 of
    subproject) works.
-Checking out one project with one subproject (level 1 of
subproject) with one sub-sub-project (level 2 of subproject)
    does not work anymore.
--? It does not work if they don't maintain the workarea of the
    projects.
--? It does not work if they maintain the workareas in absolute
mode (we didn't try the relative mode)

A trace of the checkout on the Classic client returned the
    following warnings from the ccm_ui.log:
    ##
11/08/2010 11:03:08 ACcent execution aborted in module proj_co,
    file ?stdin?, line 2458.

11/08/2010 11:03:08 Warning: illegal string representation of
    Accent data.
    ....
11/08/2010 11:03:16 Warning: remote function failed.
11/08/2010 11:03:16 Warning: illegal string representation of
    Accent data.
11/08/2010 11:03:16 Warning: Exiting CM Synergy.
    ##

A workaround was furnished in the escalation:
Adding the 'export LC_NUMERIC='C'' in the ccm_engine fixed the
    checkout problem.
    Or use the en_US locale
