Problem summary


    

  • In derby if the xpath contains an order by
@jcr:uuid clause nodes from types that are not referenceable
are eliminated.  While this matches the spec this is not how
the JCR behaves on other DB platforms and is not the behavior
that the applications want.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The problem is fixed by using a
GlobalContext to detect when the JCR is processing a
specific order by clause.
