PM28228: RFT8.2 : Playback fails with ObjectNotFound exception for HTML controls

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• RFT cannot find a control during playback and it throws a object
  not found exception. Highlight also fails.
  
  For now there is a workaround which is
  
  rational.test.ft.html.use.findbyidorname=false
  
  This property what does is that, it looks for a control name
  directly using a find approach instead of our traditional ways
  of finding a test object.
  
  We need to fix this so that, RFT should be able to find a test
  object which has good set recognition properties.

  Playback takes a long time in scenarios where there are
  multiple checkboxes and we need to identify the right
  control to playback upon. This is a result of repeated
  calculation of class indices for all the checkboxes during
  each iteration. Made the performance improvement by caching
  the class index value for all the similar found objects and
  also by doing the reverse scoring
  

Problem conclusion

• The caching along with reverse scoring implementation
  improves the performance and playback works fine on the
  desired checkbox now.
