PM27025: Regression between 6.3 and 6.6.3 with Rule MISRA 16_8_iii

  Rule MISRA 16_8_iii 'For functions with non-void return type,
  the return expression shall match the declared return type'
  
  
  
  Rule MISRA 16_8_iii rule is  made obsolete  as it is covered by
  the 'MISRA 16_8_i' and 'MISRA 16_8_ii' rules..
  But this is not observed with 6.6.3.There are some violations
  that were reported  in 6.3 with MISRA_16_8_iii which are not
  reported in 6.6.3 (with 'MISRA 16_8_i' and 'MISRA 16_8_ii')
  
  Especially, for the following lines:
  M_COD_MIS_083i_MISRA_BIS.c - line 34
  M_COD_MIS_083iii_MISRA.c - line 17
  M_COD_MIS_083iii_MISRA_BIS.c - line 35
  M_COD_MIS_083iii_MISRA_BIS.c - line 43

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in Rational Logiscope 6.6.3 iFix1.
