PM26795: MISRA_8_4 rule reports incorrect violations

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The rule definition states that:
  
  If objects or functions are declared more than once they shall
  have compatible declarations.
  
  However, when MISRA_8_4 is checked for violations in the
  attached source code, we find that the rule reports violations
  for functions that are declared more than once.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1) Unzip and load the attached project
  2) Build the project to observe the incorrect violations
  
  Support observations:
  1) we observe that these violations are not reported by
  MISRA_8_4 in Logiscope 6.3
