PM25406: Loading descriptor for a EJB project takes a long long time - 5 - 10 minutes

Error description

• Loading descriptor for a EJB  project takes 5 - 10 minutes.
  
  While loading the descriptor, you cannot really do anything to
  the project, if you tried to edit a file or anything, it would
  stall for a while and then open the file (as if waiting for the
  descriptor to finish loading).

  When building annotation model and EMF DD model, code tries
  to resolve the Java types for their fully qualified name,
  since the "resolve" API is slow and been called many times
  for the customer's workspace, it caused the long time delay.
  

Problem conclusion

• The solution was to add logic for the known Java types to
  reduce the number of the calls to improve performance.
  
  This issue is fixed in Rational Application Developer
  7.5.5.3.
