PM24951: The cancel button is inactive during the archive process

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The cancel button is inactive during the archive process
  so it is not possible to stop an archive once started.
  
  It should be possible to cancel the archive once it has started.
  Why is there a cancel button there if it is inactive/greyed out.
  This is particular problem with very large project archives.
  It is only possible to stop the archive by going to Task Manager
  which is not a preferred option.
