Error description

  • Generating a WSDL from a Cobol Copybook that has upper case
    CPY mapping causes problems like blanks in the request and
    response field.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The error feedback was not working if the COBOL file
    extension is upper-case or mixed-case (i.e. it only worked for
    lowercase).
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix was put in so that the error feedback will work for all
    cases (upper-case or mixed-case or lower-case) of COBOL file
    extension.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.2.1 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
