PM23338: C8ITK CLIENT DOES NOT HANDLE COMPRESSED DATA CORRECTLY

Error description

• This defect is being logged as a result of Information Request
  COGCQ00281514.????The customer has enabled compression for
  responses/requests that have a content-length of 8192 bytes or
  greater in size. ????When using TM1 Architect in conjunction
  with a Cognos8 Namespace (using LDAP), users are unable to log
  into the environment.  They are presented with a 'CAM Passport
  Error'.  This error is not present, and users can log in
  successfully when compression is disabled.????Using Fiddler, we
  have been able to determine that the conversation is the same -
  until the C8ITK Client gets a hold of the compressed
  response.????The defect, is that the C8ITK Client / Architect
  should be able to handle the compressed data.  This is a
  difference in functionality to how Cognos8 Authenticates, as
  well as TM1 Web.????
