PM22800: Missing Initial value interface for ?Static? Generalized File and Class attributes.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1.  When using ?Static? Generalization relations on a File or
  Class with attributes, inherited attributes of the derived class
  instance do not show up in the 'InitialValue' tab.
  
  2.  When these inherited attributes are 'const' attributes the
  Design Check tool has a test- Warning: Const attribute cannot
  have initial value. Initial value is ignored Unchecking this
  check does not remove the Warning generated during code
  generation.
  
  3.  Providing an initial value for the class attribute
  definition is the only way to get any initial value (default)
  but will be the same value for all instances.
  
  In the attached example model the T_MemorySegmentation package
  contains demonstrations of base and derived classes.  The
  TestPkg contains the object instantiations and component
  definitions.
