PM22466: Rational Developer for System z Carma Endevor Local Syntax, Content Assist, and Refresh Dependencies fails intermittently

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • There are times when neither the Refresh Dependencies, the
Content Assist nor the Local Syntax check work properly for
CARMA/Endevor resources.  The problem is that the customer
cannot even add information to the SYSLIB in the property group
that will allow Rational Developer for System z ( RDz ) to find
the necessary copybooks.

  • RDz's Endevor team proxy assumed that all dependencies were
within the repository.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Modified RDz's Endevor team proxy to read associated property
group in order to determine the correct SYSLIB concatenation.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.2.1 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
