Error description

  • When entering data in the z/OS Unix-Shell with Brackets in the
command the brackets are not displayed correctly in the command
shell when using RDz 7.6.1.

When entering the command echo $ [ 123 + 321 ] in the RDz z/OS
Unix Shell the following is displayed $ ￭ 123 + 321 
This is related to the locale En_US.IBM-1140 or En_US.IBM-1047.

When the command is entered on the host the brackets are
displayed as expected.
