PM21128: Incorrect build failure message issued for Java failure

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User is running RBD 7.5.1.5 on Windows and is trying to generate
  a Cobol program. The generation is successful, but the PREP
  step, which uses Distributed Build, fails.
  In the Environment, the default Java compiler is at a lower
  
  version
  than is required by Distributed Build.  It is expected that
  Distributed Build would fail in this case, but  the user is
  presented with a confusing message.
  
  
  
  When  the user submits a generate for  a Cobol program on RBD, a
  message is issued that
  the build failed, and the results are in a Build Results file in
  the generation directory.
  
  When  the user submits a generate for  a Cobol program, with
  PREP=YES, on RBD
     1. The generation fails very quickly (in a few seconds)
     2. The following message is issued:
         IWN.VAL.9995.e 0/0 The build for <program_name> failed.
  Refer to the results file
  <genout_Directory>\<program_name>_cbl_Results.xml for details.
    3. The genout directory does not contain the mentioned results
  file.
  
  The real error is that when Java was used to launch the
  buildplan, it failed with an exception which
  indicated the version mismatch. However, this information is not
  used and a generic, and incorrect message is issued.
  
  The code should look at the real exception and issue a more
  appropriate message.

  The error message is wrong, when an unusual exception occurs
  during the execution of the build plan. The error message
  states to view the result.xml file, but sometimes it is
  possible to have an error before the xml file has been
  created. This made it difficult to determine the problem.
  

Problem conclusion

• Now an additional message is displayed that gives the
  excdeptoin error message's text, to aid in determining the
  error.
