Error description
After a user's RSE session has timed out he is not able to reconnect to RSE using a CARMA connection. Scenario: User is working on a host dataset via Rational Developer for System z using a CARMA connection. The user is interrupted for over an hour, which causes an RSE logoff. The user is not able to reconnect after this happens. The editor listener attempts to create a new session, but the user is never prompted for his user id/password again. The following message was found in the .log file for the user's workspace: Container contents to retrieve could not be executed. [2111] The CARMA-transport has not found the item. Update the element at a higher level of the hierarchy

Problem summary

Problem conclusion
Fixed Indirectly in 7.6.1. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.1 Refresh Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
