• Environment:

  Telelogic Synergy 7.1
  
  Summary:
  'ccmsrv restore' command with the argument 'y' does not work as
  expected.
  
  Description:
  The ccmsrv restore command has the following Syntax:
  
  ccmsrv restore [-d|-device archive_device] [-s|-server servernam
  e][-y]
  
  Where using the? '-y' argument executes the command without prom
  pting for confirmation from the user as per documentation.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  Run the command 'ccmsrv restore -y'
  
  Expected Result:
  
  No prompt for confirmation from the user.
  
  Actual Result:
  
  The 'ccmsrv restore -y' command comes back with the syntax of th
  e 'ccmsrv restore' command. so the -y argument is not accepted w
  ith this command.
  
  
  So the 'ccmsrv restore -y' command does not work as documented,
  although the 'ccmsrv archive -y' command works.
  
  Business Impact:
  The archive and restore process cannot be automated because of t
  his behavior.
