PM18165: WCI: MOVE FAILS WITH ITEMLOCKEDEXCEPTION

Error description

  • Moving an item may fail with com.ibm.workplace.wcm.services
.content.ItemLockedException which is occurs despite the feed
user owning the lock. This was fixed to prevent an exception
occurring when the feed user owns the lock.

Problem summary


    

  • Moving an item in the WCI fails if the user performing the move
already owns a lock on the item being moved.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The WCI move functionality was modified to handle the case where
the user doing the move already has the item locked. In this
case the existing lock will be used and the item will be moved.
