• further to defect 30540, user thinks it is necessary to have a d
  ocumented list of operations which change the 'last modified by'
   and 'last modified on' module level attributes. Defect 30540 li

  - undeleting an object
  - purging an object
  - moving an object
  - creating an outgoing link
  - creating an external link
  
  as operations which now correctly update the 'last modified*' at
  tributes. Clearly others do too (editing an attr value where 'ge
  nerate history' is on, adding / removing objects, etc). A list o
  f these operations would be useful as a reference.

Problem conclusion

• The following information has been added to the Module
  history topic:
  
  Changes to attributes that generate history are listed in
  the module properties. The following changes to attributes
  generate history records:
  
  . Creating, editing, and deleting an attribute
  . Copying an attribute
  . Importing an attribute
  
  If you do not want an attribute to generate history records,
  edit the attribute definition.
  
  By default, creating and deleting in-links and out-links is
  recorded in the module history. If you do not want to
  generate history for links, go to the General tab of the
  Module Properties window and clear Create link history.
  
  Other operations on data generate history records:
  . Adding, editing, and moving an object
  . Deleting, undeleting, and purging an object
  . Cutting an object to the clipboard and pasting an object
  from the clipboard
  
  These operations on data also update the Last modified By
  and Last modified On system attributes on the General tab.
