Error description

  • Web-mode create file does not specify type on the client, so the
type will be decided on the server using the migrate rules for
the server platform. If the client is running on a Windows
platform and the server on a Unix platform and a file is
specified that is not defined in the Unix migrate rules, the
object will be created as ascii.

I have a type definition for c++ with Migrate rules set to:
    Windows Client: cpp ? cxx
    UNIX client cyy

I start a web mode client on Windows:
Case 1: Create a file via the GUI 2file.cxx the object has a
type of ascii. The steps I used is: Right click on a directory,
    Select Create Member? File? 2file.cxx.

Case 2: Create the file in the work area 3file.cxx and do a
Sync. The file is created as c++.

A c++ object should be created in both cases.
