Error description
User upgraded from Rational Developer for System z V7.5 to V7.6.0.1. When editing a remote C Program using Content Assist the number of choices is two. In the previous release of RDz V7.5 the same program, give eight choices.
Local fix
Problem summary
When editing C/C++ source in MVS PDS members, the Remote C/C++ Editor and System z LPEX Editor would not return any remote proposals.
Problem conclusion
When editing C/C++ source in MVS PDS members, the Remote C/C++ Editor and System z LPEX Editor will now return remote proposals when text preceeds the cursor, and when remote content assist is invoke (ie. Ctrl+Space pressed twice). The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V7.6.2.1 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
