  • In Synergy web mode, using types created after the Java client h
as started, can result in a Java runtime exception.

Problem summary


    

  • Problem occurs when a the Synergy GUI is asked to show an
object given a cvid and that object turns out to be
something it can't show.  There are many objects in the
database that aren't shown in the Synergy GUI and if asked
to show one of them this runtime exception would happen.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Instead of a runtime exception, a proper error message is
reported providing the four-part name of the object trying
to be shown.
