PM14849: MODIFYING PS\PORTAL\SYSTEM.XML DOES NOT HIDE ELEMENTS IN THE ADMIN AREA

Error description

• Trying to hide the logon/logoff button for everyone except
  Administrators in Cognos.??Have modified ps\portal\system.xml
  file with the following entry:?<param
  name="ui_hide">???<CC_HEADER_MENU_logon
  show="Administrators"/>???<CC_HEADER_MENU_logoff
  show="Administrators"/></param>?However, this modification does
  not apply to the admin are. When a non-administrator user log in
  to Cognos connection and go to "My Activities and Schedules"
  page, the logoff button appears. ??Have tested this in 8.4.1
  FP1.?If I modify the ps\system.xml file with the same entry,
  logon/logoff button does not appear in the admin area. However,
  this applies to everybody. I did not have the option of only
  showing this to Administrators.?
