PM13381: RECALCULATE FAILS TO CREATE VALUES FOR DERIVED INDEX CREATED THROUGH STAGING TABLES

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a derived index definition is loaded into Metric Studio via
.cmm, .cmo and .cml flat files, running a Recalculate metric
store derived values will result in the following message
:????DIS-RUN-3368 Step 'Recalculate derived values' finished.
Metric Studio did not locate any values for calculation. This
may be because no metric values were entered into Metric Studio,
metric values were rejected during the transfer from staging, or
metric data values failed to import from tab-delimited
files.????The derived index metric will be creted on the
scorecard but it will have no values loaded.????If the derived
index is added via the Metric Studio user interface then the
Recalculate will correctly calculate and display the derived
index values.

Local fix

  • Reload the data from the .cmv files after loading the derived in
dex definition.
