• When creating applications, a large number of database
  queries are issued. This significantly increases the execution
  time.
  

Problem conclusion

• When handling a content node, the controller implementation
  checks for its existence. If it does not exist yet, then certain
  validation checks can be omitted. This helps with application
  creation time, because in that case the content nodes are new
  and do not exist yet.
