Error description

  • Problem
If you have an attribute which is based on the 'user name' type,
removing the user on which values are based will remove the dat
a from display in any baseline.

    To Reproduce
    - create users tom, dick and harry
    - create a module with 3 objects
    - create an attribute based on the 'user name' type
    - edit each object so that tom, dick and harry are set for one o
    bject each
    - save module. baseline module. close module
    - delete user tom from DOORS
    - reopen the module. tom is missing from object 1
    - open the baseline. tom is also missing from object 1

    Possible Workarounds
add the user back to the user list. The user can then be disable
d so that they cannot get back into DOORS (if desired) and the n
ame will re-appear in the baseline.

If you have an attribute which is based on the 'user name'
type, removing the user from the database on which values
are based will remove the data from display in any baseline.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been changed so that user names will continue
to display in the baseline after that user has been removed
    from the DOORS database
