Error description

  • IBM Cognos Viewer is freezing with Internet Explorer {7,8,9} if
    an error occurs during a report is running in asynch mode and
    the connection is over HTTPS. The underlying error can be
    anything from missing datasource to invalid sql statement. If
    the IE window is minimized, then maximized, the screen will be
    blank and view source contains no content. This issue does not
    occur with IE and HTTP. Using Chrome or FireFox displays the
    error correctly over HTTP and HTTPS.
